The initial consultation at Osana will comprise of a review of your child’s birth history, medical history, milestones reached (such as when they rolled, sat, crawled, walked) and will involve a run-through of your current concerns and expectations. Assessments will be conducted depending on your concerns and referral requested and will include lower limb and age appropriate assessments. With the completion of the various assessments, goals and a treatment plan will be advised. The treatment plan will include various exercises and treatments that you are able to complete at home.
The cost of the initial consultation also takes into account the time involved in reviewing assessment results, research and planning for ongoing review sessions. After the completion of the initial consultation, a one-page summary of assessment results, goals and treatment plan will be emailed to the parent/carers prior to the next appointment.
Review consultations are comprised of a review of the current treatment plan and follow-up on any additional assessments. The review consultations can be 60, 40 or 30 minutes in duration depending on your current concerns, your child’s progress and their treatment plan.
